Creating a website was a completely new skill that I had to discover. It took me a while to get the hang of it but once I found out how the tools worked it went smoothly. I used design principles when adding images and website URL's to help my website run smoothly throughout the entire process. I enjoyed this assignment but there were some tasks that were difficult to complete such as inserting a calendar that wasn't my personal calendar.   https://second-grade-sharkies.weebly.com/  In my classroom I could implement QR codes in a various amount of ways including, tests, activities and surveys. I could ask my students to scan a QR code and decide what activity they would like to complete first. I could also set up multiple QR codes around my classroom and have the students travel around the room completing each task from each QR code. This can be done in pairs along with individually. I can also use QR codes to have them select which reward they would be most interested in...

So far in this class, using blogger has been fairly simple to understand. I have never used blogger before this class but it seems like an effective resource to posting assignments. I do personally think that posting paragraphs like such would be more simple to post on canvas either as a discussion board or to upload a MSWord document. I have learned how to create new posts and comment on other students posts.  When teaching, I might use Google Docs to help show my students how to properly collaborate with students. They will be able to share the doc with their peers and collaborate through that. Google docs is also helpful for individual work when asking the students to submit assignments onto canvas. It will also help peer editing. Students can access other students docs and mark their work and make suggestions to help improve their work. https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/    Google docs is a solid platform that has become more and more popular.  Before thi...

The standard that I have selected is Identify, analyze and evaluate movement concepts, mechanical principles, safety considerations and strategies/tactics regarding movement performance in a variety of physical activities. This standard describes physical education and the importance that it has in a students education. It discusses how technology can be used to enhance expertise in physical education. I feel prepared to implement this standard based on my current skill set because I have knowledge of physical education and feel confident that there are resources that technology can provide to enhance the outcome of physical education. I selected a second grade level lesson plan about Lunchroom Madness. This resource will be extremely beneficial to teachers in Florida as it has predesigned lesson plans and templets that we are able to use. Lesson plans like this particular one can be used in my teaching in case of an absence of the teacher. For example, if I was not able to atten...

Microsoft Word has been extremely helpful throughout my education in grades K-12 along with college level courses. During high school, MS Word helped me in times when studying for AP exams, grouping together resumes and applying to colleges. Microsoft Word makes it easy to download documents and annotate them efficiently. Without the ability to do this, my high school work would have been very unorganized. So far in college, MS Word has been beneficial to my work load by allowing me to highlight, underline and select different colors for fonts. I prefer using MS over google docs or pages mainly because I have a HP computer. Using pages sometimes gives me issues. Google docs and MS Word are both fairly similar but MS Word is simpler for me to download. The ISTE Standards for Educators is a great guide for helping students grow in different aspects of learning. One of the standards, leader, speaks to me the most as when I was in elementary school, I had a mentor who guided me through the...
